Unofficial Tinder dating app released again for Windows Phone as talks fail for an official one
Although Windows Telephone is gaining official apps left and right, Tinder isn't one of them. A few months ago, programmer extraordinaire Rudy Huyn released an app called 6tindr, which brought all the features over from the famous partner finding service. The app defenseless the attention of Tinder, who was not pleased and promptly asked for the removal of the app. The good news to the story was that Tinder approached Huyn about turning his app into the official one. Only that was in January and six months later, there's goose egg.
Rumors began circulating that one of the people in charge of Tinder was blocking the evolution of the Windows Phone app, and not giving their approval for the projection to go forrard. Whatever the intention, Huyn became frustrated as Windows Phone users grew impatient.
Today, a new app called 6tin has been released to the Shop. It is the same old 6tindr app from yore, simply with a new app link listing and a slightly new proper noun. The app is in one case over again from Rudy Huyn, though he is remaining mum so far on the application's release. The app does feature some exclusive options not available even from Tinder, including:
- Review last passed persons to like them if you made a mistake or changed your listen
- Select manually your geo-localization on a map without GPS
- Ship message using voice recognition
- Exist able to save photos of your contacts on your phone
- Open directly your friend profile from a flick saved on your phone (rich media extensibility)
It is non articulate if Tinder volition once more enquire for the removal of the app or if they take compromised by letting Huyn's app exist on Windows Telephone. Until this consequence clears up, you may want to download the app today, just in case anything does happen to its list.
- Download 6tin from the Windows Phone Store
Thanks, Andrew D., Joost De N., and others for the tips!
